The Hardin American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 487 was established December 18th, 1976 and the current membership is 32.

The Hardin American Legion Auxiliary contributes to the Veterans of Kansas City, charitable organizations and to all local organizations. We sponsor two Girls State scholarships and two sponsors for the Cancer Relay each year.
